FAQs

To help you plan your day out at the Essex Festive Gift & Food Show, we have compiled a list of our most frequently asked visitor questions. If you have a question which is not answered here, please call our general enquiries line on 01702 549623, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (excluding Bank Holidays).

Tickets

Can I book my tickets online?

Tickets for this year’s event are limited and can be booked in advance on our website by clicking here. For full ticket prices click here.

Can I book tickets over the phone?

Yes, the number to call is 0333 242 7912. Lines are open Monday – Friday excluding Bank Holidays. The cost to call 0333 numbers is the same as calling a normal local or national landline. If your tariff or call package offers free or inclusive calls to landlines, numbers starting with 03 will normally be included free of charge.

Can tickets only be used on the day selected?

If you have booked Standard or Afternoon Tickets, these must be booked for the day you plan to attend the show and can only be used on the day and entry time slot you have booked for (Sunday tickets cannot be used on Saturday, for example). If you are unable to print your tickets, we do also accept viewings on smartphones.

Do the Standard time slot entry tickets mean we’re limited to how long we can stay at the event?

No, your time slot entry tickets are for your arrival time to the show only. You can stay at the event for as long as you like. The event closes at 5pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.

What are the ‘Premium Plus’ and Premium’ tickets?

Premium Plus and Premium tickets give you exclusive early access to the Essex Festive Gift & Food Show 2025 from 9.30am. These tickets are strictly limited to offer a pleasurable shopping experience before the show is open to the public. You do not need to select which day you would like to attend. Premium tickets will give you one-day entry on either Saturday or Sunday. Premium Plus tickets will give you entry for TWO days on Saturday AND Sunday. Find out more here.

What are Afternoon tickets?

Due to popular request, we have introduced ‘Afternoon Tickets’ for the Essex Festive Gift & Food Show 2025. These special discounted tickets will give you access to the Essex Festive Gift & Food Show during the event’s quietest periods for those who may still feel vulnerable or would like to attend during the quiet time. Entry is from 1.30pm onwards.

Do you have a concession for carers?

Yes, we offer free entry for carers. You will need to book tickets for everyone else in your group but the carer/s will receive complimentary entry. Just let the team on the gate know and they will arrange entry.

I’m having problems with my ticket booking – what should I do?

If you have a ticket enquiry, please email support@yourticketbooking.com or call 0333 242 7912. Lines are open Monday – Friday between 9am and 3pm excluding Bank Holidays. The cost to call 0333 numbers is the same as calling a normal local or national land line. If your tariff or call package offers free or inclusive calls to landlines, numbers starting with 03 will normally be included free of charge. On weekend show days, lines will be open from 8am to 11am on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November 2025.

I don’t have access to a printer and/or can’t print my tickets – can I still come to the show?

Yes, if you are unable to print the tickets, we do also accept viewing on smartphones.

I can’t find my ticket confirmation email – what should I do?

Sometimes our ticket confirmation emails end up in people’s junk mail (we try not to take it personally). Follow this link to the ticket booking page, scroll to the bottom of the page and then click on ‘Resend My Email’. Your tickets should be resent through to you. For further assistance, please email support@yourticketbooking.com or call 0333 242 7912. Lines are open Monday – Friday between 9am and 3pm excluding Bank Holidays.

I can no longer attend – can I get a refund?

We’re sorry if you can’t join us but all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

Parking & Transport

Is there an additional charge for parking?

No, parking at the The Brentwood Centre is free for visitors. There are plenty of car parking spaces available on grass so please wear appropriate footwear and follow the signs and directions from our car park marshals on the day.

How far is the car park from the Main Entrance?

The main car park is opposite the Main Show entrance. Spaces at the front of the car park are allocated on a first come, first served basis so if you’d like to be parked close to the show entrance, we’d advise arriving in the morning. Our overflow carpark is behind the Brentwood Centre with a mixture of hardstanding and grass carpark please wear suitable footwear. Car park marshals will be on site from approximately 9.00am.

Are there parking facilities for those who need accessibility?

Yes. The spaces are as close as possible to the Brentwood Centre entrance. Please ask staff on arrival and they will direct you to these spaces. However, we advise arriving early as Blue Badge parking is limited.

Can we hire a wheelchair at the show?

Unfortunately we don’t have the facilities to offer this service, however you are welcome to bring your own wheelchair or walking aids with you.

The Show

Does the show take place inside or outside?

This year’s Christmas Fair is all indoors, however car parking is on a mixture of hardstanding and grass so please wear appropriate footwear.

What’s the ground like?

The Show is all indoors which includes an exhibition hall and marquees.

Can I bring a buggy or a pram?

Although buggies and prams are not permitted in the show, we are pleased to introduce a FREE buggy park which you are welcome to use at the entrance of the show.

Will there be toilets and disabled toilet facilities?

Yes, there are several toilet blocks available at the Essex Festive Gift & Food Show and disabled toilet facilities can be found inside the Brentwood Centre foyer.

Are dogs allowed in the grounds?

No, dogs are not permitted at this event.

Can I enter the Show more than once during my visit?

Yes, we will issue hand stamps for anyone wishing to return throughout the day of their visit.

Will there be food at the show?

Yes, there will be an array of stands selling a selection of food and refreshments.

Is picnicking allowed?

Yes, you are welcome to picnic in any public areas.

Is there a cashpoint at the Brentwood Centre?

No, there is no cash point available at the Brentwood Centre.

Whilst we advertise events, activities and entertainments we will not be held responsible for the failure of any events, activity and/or entertainment being available or the quality of any of the events, activities or entertainments. Failure of any of these to please cannot be held as a reason for refund.

You are fully liable for your animal should they cause any damage or injury. Any dog showing aggressive behaviour at the show will be asked to leave with no refund given. In the interests of hygiene make sure you pick up after your dog. Any photos and/or videos taken by a member of Aztec Shows LLP may be used in future for promotion of the show. Visitors are reminded that the terrain of the show may be unstable please be aware of the possibility of slips, trips and falls. By entering the show you are agreeing to the above disclaimer and that the images and video footage taken may be used.
